She was quiet and seemed shy on the ramp, but would rip around the bowls,then rush to class, meet us at 9th St., rush to class, dinner at Wahoo's, and was kind enough along with Nina,Bob,and Niki to drive me and Kriss Kyle to Walnut Creek Pump Track to meet up with Joe Rich, Blyth, and Crandaddy. Aside from multitasking and getting shit done, little did I know how massive her talents were with an acoustic guitar and her wonderful massive voice. This is very heartfelt music that I feel a connection with. I mean that one hundred percent that life isn't all about headbanging, and smoking beer.
Im not talking about Obituary massive when I speak of Aimee's vocals but there are huge and from the heart, you don't need inhuman vocals, Celtic Frost riffs, and blast beats all day to be a treat to the ears!
Yes its true Im not just some metal obsessed neanderthal, I love all types of tunes and Aimee's hit the spot. Im not going to keep it low key, if your into heartfelt music that isn't tongue in cheek hearing some 28 year old high school drop out stealing words out of Morrissey's lyric book and still wishing he took that one special girl to his prom.
