August 2nd, 2011 Album Of The Day: Defeated Sanity-Chapters Of Repugnance

Defeated Sanity pretty much sum up everything that a brutal death metal record should be in my opinion. Starting with what sounds like, Cannibal Corpse- Meat Hook Sodomy it breaks out from the standard mold of brutality and while it may not set new ground. Defeated Sanity sure as fuck make some of the heaviest riffs in the past ten years to hit your speakers from a new Death Metal act.
Very heavy tunes, that are sure to make your hair grow. The guitar sweeps on Introitus are very infectious and leave you wanting more. Which arrives in the form of a hacksaw to the skull in the form of, "Consumed By Repugnance". Sick vocals, great drumming add to the already brutal mix and find themselves perfecting in a way that few bands can pull off. By making songs of a brutal nature over three minutes not be repeating themselves but leaving you headbanging and wanting more. Highly suggested for fans of heavy tunes!
